Interview With Tori Lane by Cary Fetish and Pinup Model Tori Lane. How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? Fetish modeling has always intrigued me, I love the outfits, poses and the all around feel of it, playing dress up is something every girl likes, I just enjoy an adult version of it.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? I never kiss and tell, I guess you'll just have to use your imagination ;)
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? I'm sure there are, I'm just a very open minded person,The world of fetish is about diving into new things, setting higher standards, pushing the envelope, and in such a creative and indulgent society I don't think I have earned the right say if something is appealing or not.
What excites you about fetish modeling? I would say I'm confident in myself but everyone has insecurities, its only human, and Fetish modeling knocks down those walls, its an industry where "normal" isn't even a word. It's a comfort zone where I know I'm not being dissected or picked apart, I'm being thanked for being myself.
Classic pinup has become a huge phenomena lately, what about it first captured your interest? Ya, it has exploded, and I'm one of the many that jumped on the band wagon, I think if pinup is done properly it's one the most beautiful forms of photography nowadays.
What is it that excites you about pinup modeling? I guess that's where the fetish comes in, I get to be someone completely different, when I'm @ home working I'm a piercer, and one of the guys, But when I'm in pinup I'm the perfect mixture of domination and submission. It's empowering at times.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? Mostly vintage lingerie, however latex is becoming more and more appealing to me, keep you eyes on me, I'm going to be surprising you all very soon!
What are your least favorites? I love the look of corsets but being as small as I am already I'm having to make my own corsets, Its becoming quite a headache, anyone know custom corset makers that will specialize in a tiny gal? :)
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? I do, and its a little depressing, I guess it's like the art of body modification, Its all becoming mainstream, I shouldn't have 15 years olds coming to my shop wanting nipple rings, and I shouldn't see every chick who does sears portraits putting on red lipstick and a polka dot skirt and calling herself a pinup model, I don't even think I have earned the title yet.
What kind of music do you like? I'm a little everywhere, when I'm tired, Billie Holiday and Johnny Cash, when I'm on the road: A Day to Remember, The Cure, Isis, Mastodon, Portishead, The White Stripes ect.
What do you like to do for fun? Right now I'm working a lot, if I'm not at the shop, I'm booking shoots, or entertaining, I think I'm lucky enough to have people In my life who love me and enjoy seeing me smile, so I'm having fun when I'm with them, you know who you are ;)
