What inspired you to pick up a camera?

I think the fact I loved looking at fetish photos, and collecting them, in the late 80's. I never thought it possible to meet girls who liked is as much as I do. Somewhere in 2008 I helped a friend building a pretty neat photo studio in Amsterdam, at that time I found myself surrounded by lovely aspiring fetish models. I thought Studio + Models + Fun = Great Photoshoot opportunities. Only thing I needed was a camera!

Since then things started rolling. Or should I say avalanching...

My niece helped me with the styling and make-up. Latex designers or corset makers borrowed me their fab outfits, and the girls I shoot with are super enthusiastic.

What particular challenges do you face with erotic photography as opposed to other genres?

I'm not into many other genres yet to be honest. But it's always a challenge to make a photo with just the right mode, make-up, setting and lights as I had it in my mind before the shoot. Sometimes it's exactly what I hoped for... And believe me, that is a challenge:)

Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?

I have almost no knowledge shooting on film. I'm just a silly guy with aCanon 40D and some wild ideas.

Since I don't like photoshopping that much I found this lovely model who helps me out every now and then. So that leaves more time for me to do shoots. (this model has been interviewed here as well under the name PanzerEngel)

How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?

I think it has been dormant for years. When I was 5? There was this not that interesting girl who was living next door. When we started playing innocent hide and seek games where she (the seeker) was tied to a wall instead of counting things became more interesting. Much later I found out I wasn't the only one enjoying that ;)

I did my homework and theoretical research via internet and was not really an active participant for years. This changed when I met this super nice and kinky girl who arranged for me to join her to the German Fetish Ball. (and do a fun show with her on the main stage while I was at it)

Since then I've been to several parties in Europe and met a lot of new strange/sexy/interesting friends.

Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?

I sure do, and by looking at my photos I'm sure you can find out most of my Fetishes.

Bondage is something I want to explore much further. I'm not at the shibari level or even close. I do like the damsel in distress stuff. Right now there aren't that many willing victims to practice on, so if you know any.... :)

Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?

The pinup-style is somewhat sweeter and has less of a taboo is my opinion. I love it when I see more and more pinup on the streets.

The taboo on fetish clothing is still there but Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga are helping. More and more Hollywood stars appear in latex (which is good!).

My friends Scotch and Pepper design such haute couture latex clothing you can wear it to absolutely every occasion.

Jeroen van der Klis, a well know corset maker from Amsterdam, borrowed me a corset one day and the model wasn't that impressed. It looked like a simple jeans-skirt. There was much more to it than that. The steel boning and the tight lacing adds great curves, creating that extreme hourglass figure. When she was wearing it, she didn't want to take it off anymore and wanted to go out like that.

Last but not least, there's high heeled girls everywhere nowadays. A think I can't encourage enough:) More eye-candy for me!

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

Not yet. I'm planning for 3 years to do some latex designing myself. I have this infernal machine haunting me for a few years I need to design in a 3D cad application. (which is not that hard, since that was my daytime job for the last few years)

What kind of music do you like?

From Abba to Annihilator, Disturbed, Rammerstein, Oomph, Prodigy, Pendulum, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Clawfinger, and much much more. Mostly up tempo or metal. When you'll visit my photo studio one of those bands will surely be blasting through the speakers!

What do you like to do for fun?

A lot.

I need to pick up cardio-fitness again, Snowboarding, In line skating, Sleeping, Wind surfing, wake-boarding, photo shoots, visit fetish parties, walking the cat, working on props, reading hardcore Sci-Fi etcetera. Recently I found out there is too little time in a 24h day.
