Classic pinup has become a huge phenomena lately, what about it first captured your interest?

I love the classic look, creating a sexy image without having to pose nude. I love the lingerie of the era as well including girdles, garters, seamed stockings, corsets, bullet bras etc.

What is it that excites you about pinup modeling?

I love being able to play dress-up in these items and interweaving modern alternative culture with the culture of another era. Pinup has so much room for interpretation and creativity as well. I always have fun planning and shooting classic pinup, it's definitely a passion of mine.

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?

I like modeling clothing and lingerie that I would feel comfortable wearing in real life. Things I feel sexy in, things that emanate classic, edgy, fem fatale. When I am my own wardrobe stylist I use a lot of my own lingerie and these are the same items I wear for my boyfriend as well. I love accessories and props to play with as well big ostrich feather fans- Sally Rand style, being amongst my favorites.

What are your least favorites?

I hate wearing things that I would NEVER wear in real life. This typically encompasses super girly, frilly, pink, glittery things. I also hate tacky lingerie!

Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?

In some ways yes, I see fetishism being mixed into the goth and heavy metal scenes constantly, particularly via leathers, pvc, and fishnets.

People are becoming more comfortable with displaying what they like to others. As for pinup I see a big scene for it on the west coast, not so much here on the east coast though, when I go out all pin-uped out I definitely get a lot of inquiring looks. Unfortunately a lot of the integration of pinup I do see is not authentic, it's not just about red lipstick there's a whole culture behind it, the music, the cars, the wardrobe etc. I think now fans of fetish and pinup are just more connected with each other. With the Internet and networking individual pinup and fetish fans are connecting with each other forming larger pinup and fetish communities.

What kind of music do you like?

I love all different types of music and can listen to and enjoy songs from all genres. My mood and believe it or not- the weather, really take part in deciding on what cd I put in. I like acoustic, jazz, hip hop, electronic, ska, reggae, rockabilly, heavy rock, seriously- everything lol

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to spend time with my friends and my boyfriend. Sometimes I like to go out, whether it be just to a bar, or to a concert in NYC. I like to dance, travel, go to the beach, and party- particularly outside in the summer. Modeling is also a lot of fun for me, as is doing makeup. I love my jobs :)

I like to snowboard, quad and hike around in the woods as well.
