How did you get started modeling?
Well, It's a funny story... It all started with Facebook. I had a friend who had done some work with Hartbass Portrait Company and they had been posting up all these gorgeous pictures of her and tagging her in them. They caught my attention on my news feed so I just kept liking each and every picture, next thing you know the creator/owner of Hartbass Portrait Company ( Harts Ortiz) reached out to me by sending me a message through chat. He had told me that he had seen potential in me and was fascinated that I was a Puerto Rican and Korean mix. I had never thought that I could be a model but he disagreed and wanted to prove to me that I was modeling material. So within a few days, we scheduled to meet with one another and we discussed about my future modeling career. Then I did few shoots with Mr. Ortiz and a month or two later, I was signed with Hartbass Company. It's a great company to be apart of and work for, and they really have helped me get more involved in the modeling industry!
What excites you about modeling?
I think what excites me the most about modeling is really everything! The chance to be different, try new looks, work with different makeup, different hair, etc. I enjoy playing a role that is not like my everyday self. Before I go to a shoot, I get all nervous just because I want to make it on time and make it very easy going for myself and the photographer. When I arrive at a shoot, the nervousness shuts off and the serious/hardworking fun model comes into play. The best part about modeling is that you learn how to really be comfortable not only in front of a camera and others but also you get to become very comfortable in your own skin. Modeling just overall really makes me happy and boosts my confidence more and more every time.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?
My favorite outfits that I love to model in, are bathing suits, lingerie, and my rave outfits. My rave outfits usually consist of short shorts, fluffies (furry legwarmers/"boots"), leg ties or fishnets, my own bedazzled bras, and my Kandi (bracelets/beads to trade with other ravers). :)
What are your least favorites?
My least favorite thing to model would have to be implied shots. It's not that I don't like it or enjoy it, it's just, for me, it seems to be the most difficult thing to model. Its really tricky when you don't want to show too too much and you can't completely cover certain body parts perfectly. You kind of focus on getting the image correctly and at the same time trying to cover your nipples or private areas. hehe ^_^ but I still enjoy those shots they always come out great!
What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future?
I definitely want to try Latex, I just think it looks hot!...
I also wanna try body paint too, I used to always see those types of images in magazines or on t.v shows and I thought they were awesome. Hopefully whenever I did try body paint I can be made into a cheetah or a zebra or lion/ some type of animal! hahaha.
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
Just Modeling and Rave events!
What kind of music do you like?
I am into EDM which is electric dance music. I absolutely love it, have a passion for the music and the rave scene. Being that I'm Puerto Rican I do enjoy my salsa/reggae music once in a while.
What do you like to do for fun?
I go to rave events for fun... They are my escape from my daily routines. I go to events that are all day events and I am never tired from it.
When I'm not at any events, I am enjoying my time with friends in the town just hanging out, or playing with my dog and rabbits . I'm also a big baker! I love making cakes, cookies, cupcakes along with cooking homemade meals for the family. :)
