What inspired you to pick up a camera?

I always saw photography as a way of expressing my ideas and concerns. At first I worked for advertising and modeling agencies but due to my rising inclination for the styles of pin up, dark, gothic, nude fashion, quirky etc. I decided to go freelance. I love my job and combine love and passion in each of my works.

What particular challenges do you face with erotic photography as opposed to other genres?

The fact of photographing nudes without getting into the vulgar and obvious. I always say; the female body is the best and most beautiful subject for photography. Another challenge we face is the fact that many people do not see erotic photography as an art worthy of being exhibited in shows and galleries. I always wanted to change that.

Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?

In the beginning my work was almost completely done on film, but actually is 100% digital. I miss the film sometimes!.

How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?

This was always an exciting genre for me, my idols are mostly erotic or pin up photographers.

Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?

Not really, but has always fascinated me. I am a very sexual person.

Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?

This genres always occupied a place in popular culture, but I feel that in recent years has revived an interest in these type of photography.

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

Design and writing. I also a planner of diverse artistic events and markets in Valencia, Venezuela, my actual city.

What kind of music do you like?

Very diverse stuff, but the alternative rock and trip hop are my favorites.

What do you like to do for fun?

Hang out with my girlfriend and friends, go to the movies, reading, internet, etc..
