The Photography Of DarkLeeloo

What inspired you to pick up a camera?
My camera is a part of myself, it is an extension of my eye and allows me to express how I feel. It is the mirror of the soul of the photographer.
What particular challenges do you face with erotic photography as opposed to other genres?
Erotic photography is in itself a challenge.
It is an art in full and a difficult exercise because we don't fall into negative photography.
We must innovate, provoke but without causing shock. Rather than showing, we must suggest. It is like a strip tease, the stripping is more important than the final phase and a naked will not necessarily more erotic that an image of a woman dressed or in lingerie but more suggestive. Everything lies in the art of suggestion .
Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?
I'm working today in digital but I 've no preference, the film is a reference to the extent that digital can not even at the match. Management contrasts in particular is much better with film.
However, digital is a must because we have to move with the time and it have many qualities, among others the ability to immediately check the result but also the fact manage everything from shooting up to the image processing giving the photographer the opportunity to get the report that he wants.
How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?
In fact that is just a chance that allowed me to meet a model at the apprentice shifted.
I've never done no such pictures before.
The wealth of this universe has won me.
Not knowing this area, everybody had predicted that I could not do anything good. I didn't want to give up, I have the challenge and I feel today a sense of satisfaction to have succeeded.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?
My photos are the opposite of my personal universe, the fetish / BDSM is not part of my life but I have an open mind and this is an area that I like to explore photographically.
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?
Dominant culture, I do not think, especially in France where this movement is not really become customary, but attitudes are changing ... slowly
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
I have long practiced the drawing but I have a little left out today
What kind of music do you like?
I've no real preference, I like everything from classical to metal. Music is an art whose wealth is infinite and can express itself in very different ways. Regardless of the sounds and culture from which it came, only quality counts.
