What inspired you to pick up a camera?

Originally I was an Illustrator and it got so frustrating asking to use other peoples work as reference or ask people to shoot what I needed and never get what I wanted....so I started to do it myself....and then I was like....drawing alone for hours on end is kind of boring and hanging out with beautiful naked women was much more fun.....but seriously I grew to love the art of it very fast.

What particular challenges do you face with erotic photography as opposed to other genres?

I find it hard to find paid work...and it is also very cliquey....which really isn't my thing....but for all I know all types of photography circles may be like that.

Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?

While I love film....I'm a tech head at heart and I love instant gratification and also film is not cheap...and I am by no means anything but a starving artist.

How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?

My friend Matt used to perform really complex ties on every girl that came over when I lived in VA way back in 99...and I have been hooked since... plus several ex girlfriends that are subs....made life very interesting.

Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?

I save that for whomever is in my personal life...sorry.

Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?

Everyone has fetishes...its about time people became less ashamed of what they like...I think the USA of all place needs to lighten up and get out that "puritan" mindset and explore their on sexuality and needs....pinup never left as far as I'm concerned.

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

I used to rock pastels and charcoal, a lot....and colored pencils....and I have been dabbling in some acrylics lately but that is mostly rubbish...I really love to do vector illustrations...I've illustrated 2 sets of Wrestling dog tags and cards for the WWE a lil while back...that kind of work is always fun.

What kind of music do you like?

I don't really stick to one genre....

I more like bands than types of music....current favs are Tool, A Perfect Circle, Gorillaz, Danzig, Matisyahu....Johnny Cash....but currently I am stuck on this hour long club mix by Trumpdisco.
