What inspired you to pick up a camera?
Moving to the Bay Area from NYC., I noticed that any makeup or style work I was getting was naked babes on car hoods, kinda not what I wanted to do so I decided maybe I should try shooting (the makeup hair and style was there so all I needed was the camera).so that's how I started. I am grateful for the models who took a chance with me..especially when I first started. They have also played a HUGH part in helping me grow as an artist, so I do think mucho kudos goes out to the models who trusted me and continue to work with me even now.
What particular challenges do you face with Erotic photography as opposed to other genres?
The big challenge is the model “KNOWING” their body, and what positions is the most flattering for their particular body type.
Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?
I currently shoot digital.
What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future?
I would love to be able to work on more exotic locations, that would be REALLY amazing. I would love to go to AFRICA and shoot the mountain gorillas,i n Rwanda Now that would be a dream!
What advice would you have for anyone just starting out in the industry?
Take some risks...you will make mistakes, but you will learn from them. You never stop learning , and treat people as you would want to be treated. You never know where the person you are working with today, will be in a few months or years.
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
I have started to do a bit with video , but I have much to learn about that genre.. !!
What kind of music do you like?
Just about everything... Except county. I am a big fan of Snatchfest and Dolleyes..a few new bands to hit the Bay area!
What do you like to do for fun?
Hmm.... Well what I do is fun, but I do like shopping, always fun, and pole dancing, mud wrestling..and going to clubs..hanging out with friends, and my doggies, dressing up, and trying to make the ordinary, extraordinary!
