How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?
It has always been lurking somewhere in the back of my brain and I have always been a very sexual creature. I started working part-time in an adult store in my last year of university. After one and a half years of working there, I found myself managing the store. Over the course of the two and a half years that I was at the store, I developed a passion for the products and the people. During this time I met Uncle M and started modeling for Uncle M Productions doing Pin-Up style bondage photography. Things escalated from there. I started attending all of the Fetish/Kink events in Vancouver, started meeting fellow kink minded people and also started doing additional modeling.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?
I most definitely do. I am a masochist, a submissive and a rope slut! Not just anyone gets to play with me though...
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing?
I am still exploring. Some things I enjoy more than others. Pretty much anything you can imagine is appealing to someone, somewhere.
What excites you about fetish modeling?
The possibility of adventure, of risk of doing something different. I love to play to the camera. I have an acting degree and fetish modeling allows me to satisfy some of the creative bones in my body. I get more out of dressing up and going crazy then trying to sit all nice and neat and pretty in front of a camera.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?
I have tonnes of fetish and dress-up clothes. At Uncle m Productions we get to wear these beautiful outfits made by local designer Suzee666. Her waist cinchers are to die for! I also like to model my birthday suit every once in awhile and I would love to start modeling in things that you wouldn't think of as clothes!
What are your least favorites?
Its dressing up! How can I not like any part of that? Sometimes it can be hard to pose when you are in heels, a tutu and a corset, tied up in rope and a gag and lying on the ground though ;)
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?
They are definitely becoming more accessible, easier to find in every day life. However, there will always be people and places that don't like to accept things that are different, things that are potentially dangerous to the regular mundane aspects of life. Having said that; pin-ups are timeless and everybody fetishizes something.
What kind of music do you like?
I am a big 1990's grunge fan. Alice in Chains. I also love oldies. Like the 60's and 70's. I have a very soft spot in my heart for Bjork. And of course everyone needs a 'lil bit of metal in their life!
What do you like to do for fun?
Hang out with my hedgehog Ben, craft/sew, read lots of dorky books, watch sci-fi tv, check out local theatre, act/model, shop online, go to thrift stores, hang out with the people I love. This summer I am going to visit my family in Alberta and then head out to Burning Man where I will be camping with Suspended Animation.
