Interview With Necromantis by Cary Necromantis is a Fetish Model, sings in a Metal Band and has a very cool name that drives my spellcheck crazy! :P How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? Its hard to say exactly - I have memories of loving being tied up in games as a child, as well as loving the smell of my rubber hot water bottle! I used to blindfold my dolls... As I got older I loved the look of really tight clothing, especially rubber, latex, PVC and leather. I used to love movies where there was a victim, dressed in white tied up against a wall, being tortured. I also started reading lots of horror, especially vampire/werewolf novels which are always laced with sexuality....I just ended up floating towards fetish/BDSM through my life, it came very naturally!
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what
are you into? Oh yes! I like role play, I like to be someone different every time I enter the bedroom....or dungeon! What can I say? I never grew out of enjoying playing dress-up games as a child ;) One night I'll be a goddess, another I'll be a nurse, or a secretary, or a whore.... Anything to do with bondage sets my heart racing, if it involves whips and chains all the better! Sometimes I like to be dominant, sometimes I like to be dominated - variety is the spice of life!
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? Nothing particularly turns me off - its just theres some fetishes I really don't see why you would get turned on by them, like the fetish for balloons...that just leaves me baffled!
What excites you about fetish modeling?
Wearing tight clothing and being the center of attention, being worshiped by the camera. It makes you feel very powerful and very excited.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? I would say anything that makes me feel really sexy - normally its the shoes that do it for me. A huge pair of black PVC boots or really high heels. I like to feel like some sort of femme fatale! I did a shoot a while back with a gas mask, and that was great because it restricted my breathing, which I found strangely exciting! It also made me more confident in front of the camera as no one could see my face....
What are your least favorites? Anything too revealing....I like to give men a surprise if they actually get with me - hence why I have never modeled nude! ;)
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? I think so, Dita Von Teese is very much a mainstream name now. I think people are starting to embrace all kinds of individuals, rather than just the "norm". I think people are also more accepting of their own sexuality too; people are becoming less afraid of what was once seen as "strange" sexual activity. People are generally more easy going and having more fun these days.
What kind of music do you like? I like music hard, fast and heavy - metal is the way to my heart, though I do enjoy classical also. I love seeing music performed live and I love performing myself. I sing in my own metal band called Divine Oblivion.
What do you like to do for fun? Hang out with the guys in the band - drinking, laughing and having fun. I love shopping to add to my dressing up box, and I enjoy photography and art in general. I really love dancing on the weekends, and have done pole dance before which I want to take up again. I also really want to try yoga and belly dancing.
