Interview With Naeina by Cary Fetish Model, Artist, and Snake Enthusiast Naenia. How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? In a lot of ways, I've always been somewhat into the fetish scene. I mean it's not something you just sign up for, but being a part of a particular culture, you pick up on things and learn & experience others. Fetish, just happens to be one of those parts of my culture that I picked up on the way. It seemed natural, something that I already felt used to and something that I enjoyed.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? I do actually enjoy some fetishism play. There are a lot of aspects that I haven't actually tried out, but a few that I have and do enjoy.
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? To each their own, I say. I'm not one to judge. I'm sure there are things I do, that many people don't find appealing.
What excites you about fetish modeling? The experience is most exciting for me. Now while I haven't done a huge amount of work in this general area, it's certainly something I'm not crossing out, and will be present in my future work.
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? I most certainly feel like pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture. More and more people are finding it acceptable in this day & age, which opens up new doors to people who normally wouldn't dream of looking in that direction. And of course there will be parts of that culture that's just too much for the mainstream, and it'll stay under wraps. It's always nice to see some aspect of an underground culture in the limelight and being accepted.
What kind of music do you like? Personally, I'm a big fan of rock, metal, and industrial. If its got a good, heavy sound. I'm into it.
What do you like to do for fun? Well for fun? Haha great question. I'm a full time art student, so fun is sparse for me at times. But I do enjoy creating in various fashions, painting, photography, and of course my graphic design work. Modeling is, as well, something I enjoy doing. I also enjoy hitting concerts and wandering around museums.
