Interview With Mz Lilly by Cary Mz Lilly is very hot, the combination of Yoga and Pro Domming must really work! How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? I've never envisioned explicit sexual scenes without BDSM. I discovered kink when I was a child through books. I stumbled upon Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy as a girl of nine. I covered them with book covers and pretended to be reading school stuff. If you haven't read these books, I recommend them! Because of these works I will always have a vivid sexual imagination. Parents, take care where you leave your erotica! And how did you transition from an interest to it being a profession? My involvement in the local scene started five years ago. At the time, I worked at cabarets but claimed the fetish niche. Often I would dominate the men who bought me off the floor. However, many men were less than respectful and subservient. After a couple of years spent milking the fetish clients (pun intended), I grew tired of the contrite strip club atmosphere and started buying dungeon equipment. I left the clubs never to return.

Do you think fetish is becoming part of the mainstream culture? Sort of. Fetish fashion is, certainly! But Catwoman has been wearing latex and wielding whips since the beginning! The Internet and advanced telecommunications have sped things up, but few people actually participate in what fetishists do. That takes courage, especially if you are "out" as a kinkster.
What kind of music do you like? Some of My favorite musicians are: Nick Cave, Beethoven, Skinny Puppy (amazing people), the Beatles, Sonic Youth, Joy Division, Patti Smith. I like so many types of music that I am cringing at the exclusions of the list. This is a kink interview though. Not a music one.
What do you like to do for fun? Play kinky S&M stuff! Aside from that, I play the piano, read books, teach and practice yoga and travel to San Francisco. Activism is important for me: I am pro-legal for medical marijuana and anti-Proposition 8. I feel very well-rounded and happy.
