Interview With Mistress LaMorta by Cary International Domme Mistress LaMorta, beautiful, cool and hardcore! How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? I spent a large portion of my youth in Italy and France. The bdsm culture is more widespread there, and as a result was a fixture in my daily life. At 16 I went to my first fetish club in France. Soon after I began to train as a domina, spending endless hours dominating, and being dominated by others. I learned all aspects of it, from the safety precautions to the psychological motives of it. And how did you transition from an interest to it being a profession? At the age of 18, I was approached by a club owner who wanted me in an act for his club. It involved fire, and knives. As you can imagine I was very eager! It was a basic stage session that paved the way for me. I had a beautiful slave hanging from the ceiling by hooks in her back. For 20 minutes she took lashings from me with a rubber flogger. Her blood splattered all over the boy slave tied to the floor beneath her. To this day, these two slaves are still at my feet when I return to Europe.
What can someone seeing you as a Pro Domme for the first time expect? I am rarely kind. I invoke the darker side of fetish. My methods are darker and are not for the faint of heart or mind. My style of domination is extreme, and when allowed (I am law abiding) I will encompass both your physical body and your mind. ::please note::: different laws exist in the US than in many European countries...many things I can do are NOT accepted in the US. I uphold every law of the country I am in and do not break them:::
What kinds of people book sessions with you?
Both men and women. A large portion of my clientèle are figures of authority. Officers of the law, lawyers and judges. One must be an extreme pain whore to session with me. I do vanilla sessions once or twice a month at public fetish parties in NYC. do not expect to see me in full action, as rules forbid. =)
What are your specialties? Pain and fear. Submission and sexuality come after the defeat. I am skilled in blood play, torture, electric play, hydro submission and mummification, and of course, I'm real mean with a flogger and paddle.
What kinds of equipment do you use? My all time favorite is a rubber flogger. it has quite a bite to it. Of course, the basic whips and paddles and ropes and chain are always present. I like cages, crosses, water tubs, coffins, electro devices, and anything else I can use.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? I do. My husband and I are very versatile in our sex life. We are up to trying anything once. Neither one of us is dominant tho, I think we match passions.
What advice would you have for someone just staring out in the fetish scene? Find a mentor! Never go it alone, its a big scary dangerous world out there! Make friends, surround yourself with other fetishists and above all have fun!
Do you think fetish is becoming part of the mainstream culture? Yes it is! Its all over television, music and fashion! The mainstream may not know it...but we have officially infiltrated.
What kind of music do you like? I'm a huge fan of heavy metal! The darker the better. Also, I tend to gravitate towards world music. Theres something amazing about hearing the soul beat of another culture. In addition I love Italian and Spanish operas.
What do you like to do for fun? I have a large interest in anachronism. As a result, I have learned to sword fight and joust. I collect medieval weapons (mostly battle ready) Also, I love to travel. I have backpacked the globe three times. and often visit Europe to do special performances, or to visit friends and family.
