Interview With Kira Krueger by Cary Fetish Model and member of The Satanic Sluts Kira Kreuger. How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? I wanted to be a fetish model since the age of 17, when I started getting into the band “Genitorturers” I started buying Skintwo and Marquis Magazine around that time and was in awe of its contents. By 18, I was in a serious Dom /sub relationship with a remarkably strong, older skinhead sub woman. I later developed a massive crush on Eileen Daly and Morrigan Hel, which finally led to me joining the Satanic Sluts (as they were the first members)
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? I prefer to keep such things personal, though I will openly admit that these days I am more of a fetishist for the look and feel of the exquisite clothing and footwear.
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? There are many fetishes that I am happy to be involved in, though I personally do not like losing control.
What excites you about fetish modeling? The transformation is exciting. I love the feel of rubber on my skin and I absolutely adore extreme heels. I can walk into a room dressed in casual wear, and then get changed into rubber or put a corset on and everything changes. Your posture improves and you automatically feel sexy and confident. I love the fact that in my everyday life I’m often described as being very shy, sweet and a bit nerdy and fetish modeling is where I can channel my secret desires. What lady wouldn’t love the chance to dress up and get paid for it!
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? Handmade Latex with zip fastenings for ease and they also tend to look better than molded rubber and I also love a good steel boned corset and pencil skirt. High heels are essential too. I really enjoyed modeling for the company Freyagushi. She makes the most wonderful handmade medical fetish clothing and accessories.
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? I think Dita Von Teese has made it a lot more accessible and acceptable to the general public. And good on her I say! I did enjoy her half and half book with pin up on one side and fetish on the other. Even mainstream pop acts have been known to wear rubber now a days! I have always found pin up and fetish clothing and accessories to be so much more visually striking than typical trendy attire.
What kind of music do you like? I don’t just like one genre of music, but what I do tend to listen to is dark, moody and atmospheric. I love industrial, J-rock, trip-hop, grrl punk, doom, Goth, death and black metal.
What do you like to do for fun? I love dressing up! Obviously… Any excuse to, I am addicted to shopping around the northern quarter of Manchester!! It helps having my own shop (Tokyo Royale) in Afflecks Palace, Manchester because I get to see the new stock when it first comes in from all the shops around me. There are some fabulous little boutiques around, like ‘Vampire –Bunnies’ on the 2nd floor Afflecks, who do quirky handmade original jewelery and the cutest handmade corsets and clutch bags! ‘Zeffers’ Vintage on the 2nd floor Afflecks opposite my shop. Then downstairs there are ‘Elysia’ and the fetish shop next door. Across the road there is ‘Kiku’ on Tibb street for corsets, on Oldham street there are ‘Rockers’ for Rockabilly pin up gear and vintage fetish wear from ‘Helen Berlin’. I also enjoy going to Goth and fetish nights where it is customary to make effort to adhere to the dress code and dancing the night away with my friends. I rather like Club Anti-Christ in London and The Wendy House in Leeds. I’m also a big fan of going to gigs…watching burlesque shows…Going Horse riding outdoors… watching extreme horror films and world cinema… and lots of other passions that I’m too much of a lady to divulge details about!!
