Interview With Inkerbella

Inkerbella and I have already decided to take over the world. Who's gonna stop us, you!?

Classic pinup has become a huge phenomena lately, what about it first captured your interest?

I have always been a fan of the pin-ups from the early days. Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe are by far my two favorites! I just love how bold and brave Bettie was with her images, creating art! I myself love art and have tried to follow in her footstep to create some master pieces! I have to say if it wasn't for the two of them, things just wouldn't be the same in the modeling world!I was delighted to be asked for an interview.

What do you think about pinup becoming part of the mainstream culture?

I love that idea! I think it's fabulous...it encourages women to show their feminine side and also we can explore the dark sides as well! I think it's super fun!

What is it that excites you about pinup modeling?

I really enjoy trying to create a master piece, like an artist would. It's my way to express myself. Along the way I have met some fabulous photographers who have each taught me something different. I have put it all in my back pocket and will never forget! I have also had the chance to work with some rockin' companies too! That has been great fun to add a prop of sorts into the mix! I just really enjoy every part of it really I do! :)

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

I would have to say modeling is my creative medium. As you can see I love tattoos as well! I like trying to figure out the next tattoos...I must say, I'm always under construction here and there will be more ink to come! hehehe!

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?

Hummm, that is a hard one to answer! I really like the classic pin-up styles, the pencil skirts and dresses, high heels and don't forget fish net stockings. But, I have also explored into other things too. I did a shoot last year for Gothfox Designs (nipple tassles) www.gothfox.com and that was something totally different for me...and you know what, I liked that a lot too! Oh my, don't forget the rope!! I must say, doing the bondage really is more than wearing an outfit! It's a whole experience! You go to a different world when your tied up....it's really out of this world...and I enjoy that a lot as well. I have had a chance to work with the super talented DonSir (www.donsirphotography.com) with all the rope work! He is not only so careful and professional with that rope, but he also knows just the right ways to capture it in image form! I really like to mix it up every once in a while. What can I say! :)

What are your least favorites?

I'm not sure, I really haven't worn (or not worn) anything I have been uncomfortable in. I'm a happy girl and always stay positive. I keep an open mind. But honestly, I don't have any least favorite anythings...darn...you were looking for something juicy there huh? Sorry! hehehe! :)

What kind of music do you like?

Well I do like a variety with my music. I come from a really musical background! It was really big in my house growing up. I love to sing and dance around. hehehe! So I have always liked a mixture of things....I would have to say some of my favorites, Shirley Temple, Frank Sinatra, Social Distortion, Johhny Cash, The Used, Tim Armstrong, AFI, The Offspring....Some of the local talent I enjoy listening too...The Transers, Gravity Clutch, and Divide the Day. Oh I could go on and on but I really don't wanna bore you...lol.

What do you like to do for fun?

For fun, I like to do the girly things of course...SHOPPING!! hehehe...and hit the salons hair and nails for me! I enjoy hanging out with my family, singing, dancing and of course getting tattooed. Yes it's true...I'm an addict...."My name is Inkerbella...and I'm addicted to Ink!" hehehe!
