Interview With Ghoul by Cary Ghoul: The creature of the night that you hope is sneaking up on you! :) How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? Ever since loosing my virginity is was always something that I was interested. I experimented with it shortly after loosing my virginity and it has played a part in my life since then. There was no big event that got me interested in it, it just was. It was something that was always, well, normal to me.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? Yes there are a fair few fetishes I am personally into, whether I am the Dominant person or the Submissive. My main fetishes are: Masochism (a fetish for being beaten, bound etc.), Stigmatophilia (a fetish for tattoos and piercings, I'm sure every alternative lady will agree with this one!) another big one for me is tight lacing (Being bound extremely tightly in a strong corset which is also classed as a body modification as well as a fetish). I'm open to a lot of thing, but these are my personal favourites!
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? There are a few that simply don't interest me or turn me on. I'm sure they work well for some people, but they really aren't for me, sorry if I'm letting anyone down by saying that! There are a few in mind that really stick out, they are: Coprophilia (a fetish for feces), Emetophilia (a fetish for vomit), Lactaphilia (fetish for human breast milk) Urophilia (a fetish for urine of any kind) and mostly Zoosadism (a fetish for watching animals in pain). These are my main fetishes that really really turn me off!
What excites you about fetish modeling? Fetish modeling is something totally different from the mainstream, it makes people look twice and then stop to study it. I think it gives a chance for someone who is not conventionally beautiful to do something beautiful and wonderful, to make a work of art with their body. I am an extremely self conscious person, and being a model, not just working with fetish has helped this. I am now more comfortable within myself and it definitely shows. I love the fact that something that may not be considered as art, can then be changed around and become artwork as well as a fetish. You can find beauty in anything if you look at it long enough.
What are your favourite types of outfits to model in? No matter what I'm modeling I wear a steel boned corset underneath it. Corsets give you a beautiful exaggerated womanly figure that changes an outfit completely. I also need to make sure I'm wearing nice shoes, shoes are a big thing for me, I guess I'm a typical female in that aspect, I have many a pair, quite a few that just sit there without being worn, but I could not just leave sitting in the shop window! So whether it be platform boots, fetish shoes or heels, a good pair of shoes is a must. As long as I'm wearing a nice corset and nice heels, then I'm usually fairly happy with the outfit!
What are your least favourites? There aren't that many outfits that I've modeled that I don't like. If I'm not doing promotional photographic or catwalk work for a fashion designer then the outfits have been chosen and put together by myself. When working with designers I am fairly lucky, they generally let me have quite a bit of creative input when designing the outfit, so they are sure that it suits my look and also my personality. If I don't have creative input on an article of clothing the designers tend to get to know me and my personality better before dressing me, otherwise the run the risk of making both themselves and the model looking terrible! I've modeled outfits that I wouldn't generally wear out myself, but I've done that as a growing point as a model, I didn't exactly dislike the outfits, they wear just something totally different to what I'm used to working with, but it challenges you, which is definitely something that needs to be done occasionally!
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? Definitely so, there is a big rise within that culture! I think the lovely Dita Von Teese has proved that! Although she has been around for quite a few years now, she has really come into the spotlight over the past few years, and with her paving the way, a lot of other fetish, pin-up and alternative girls have started to rise up and be noticed, some of the names that are well know and getting bigger are those of Sabina Kelley, Bernie Dexter and MasuimI Max, and to be honest, I like that, they are not conventional beauties, yet they are out there strutting their stuff and getting recognized for it, it's great! Even though these genres are becoming more mainstream, I unfortunately don't think that the common abuse we also get will ever stop, unfortunately people are too close-minded for that. We may look good on gloss paper, but when we are walking down the street we are still the 'girl with the undercut' or the girl the girl with those piercings in her face. We are the kind of girls that may be a secret fetish to some people, but don't tell your friends about us, less you be judged!
What kind of music do you like? I'm into a lot of different kinds of music. I love Electronica, Industrial, Happy Hardcore, Techno, Trance, Dance etc. But you can also find me bopping around to 80/90's pop and techno, as long as it has a good beat and I can dance to it, then I'll listen too it! You'd be more likely to catch me out at a Lady GaGa concert than a heavy metal gig any day! Although, having said all that, Manson will still always be my favourite! I've loved his music since my older brother gave me 'Smells Like Children' when I was about 13-14 and I've been addicted ever since. I'm currently saving to have one of his logo's tattooed on my body somewhere.
What do you like to do for fun? To be honest, anything is fun for me as long as it includes my closest friends. We pretty much do everything together and no matter how boring or trivial it seems to other people, it's always fun for us as long as we are together. We have been to the best and worst nightclubs together and always had a good time, whether it be at the actual club or when we get home, just because we are all together and make our own stupid fun. We have even discovered ways to make the grocery shopping interesting!
