Did you think Fetish Kitty Photography would be shooting landscapes and flowers? Obviously not! She takes sexy, sexy fetish photos! :)

What inspired you to pick up a camera?

A teacher actually inspired me to pick up a camera. I have been studying art since I was a little girl. I loved to paint and draw as long as I could remember, and was enrolled in all kinds of art classes growing up. When I entered Collage my art teacher said that I should try something new…so I did. I took a photography course and have never looked back. I love the feel of the camera in my hand and bringing images to life. I love to see the finished product, it becomes a living breathing thing…

What particular challenges do you face with erotic photography as opposed to other genres?

I guess the only challenge I have come across is people assuming if the model is nude it must be porn…no matter how tasteful the image is. It’s annoying actually. A erotic, nude photo is not porn...

Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?

Both, but, digital is what I shoot with now.

How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?

I have been in the scene for 9 years now on a private capacity. As for the public, I have been going to the fetish and BDSM events for the past 5 years. I fell in love with the energy and the sensuality, it was just something that I knew I enjoyed deep down. Being the top or the bottom at the club is so much fun. I do performances with my friends like Syrus and Meister Schmerz at Club Hell and some times I will top someone when given the chance :)

Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?

Yes I do enjoy it in my personal life, but I wont tell you the things I enjoy privately…that’s for me to know…lol…. What I will tell you are the things you can see me do when I perform. I love to be spanked, having my hair pulled, flogged, electric play and needle play. It’s so much fun :)

Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?

Absolutely! You can honesty see the influences every where, from the latest magazine covers to the runways of New York and Europe. Hell, even the ad Jessica Alba did for Declare Your Self was bondage related. As for our modern pinup, all I need to say is Dita VonTeesse.

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

Yes there is, I still paint and draw when the mood strikes me

What kind of music do you like?

Wow…that’s a loaded question for me. I honestly listen to all kinds of music, from Classical to Alternative to Techno. Depends on my mood really

What do you like to do for fun?

I’m the at home kind of girl mostly. I am usual doing a photoshoot, working on photos or just cooking for friends and watching movies. When I go out I like go to bars on occasion, but mostly you will see me at Hell, DV8 or Ruin.
