Interview With Dita Pantouf by Cary Alternative / Cyber model Dita Pantouf is doing really interesting and erotic work. How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM? I wouldn't say I became interested in fetish / BDSM. I was interested in Erotica art when I started
working in the arts as a child. I was interested in the beauty of being subtle which I felt Erotica lent itself too.
Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into? Privacy is a virtue that is often abused. I'll leave people to speculate as to what I'm into thanks;-)
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing? I am not into modeling anything that is considered stereotypical fetish. It's why I delved more into the cyber realm of arts. I have done a lot of erotica as well due to it being about trying to tune into what you find appealing based on what your mind deduces from a piece of work.
What excites you about fetish modeling? It's hard for me to answer questions regarding fetish modeling as I don't see myself as any kind of model other than an alternative one. So if I answer that what I like about being an alternative model it would have to be the collaborations and the unique concepts that come out of each one of them.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? I love it when I am working on a project that involves just me and my skin. However, I love modeling for Catwalk-M's hair
What are your least favorites? Anything to do with baby/nanny stuff. I've never accepted an offer to do with babies and/or children.
I also don't do modeling in leather.
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture? More celebrities seem to be sporting pin-up clothing and mainstream musicians are dating pinup models. Based on these crude observations, there does appear to be some more exposure of it in the mainstream.
What kind of music do you like? I support many local Toronto acts as well as Canadian, because I truly believe Canada has some of the best musicians. My first love has always been, and will always be opera.
What do you like to do for fun? I work a great deal so my 'off' time is really precious to me. I enjoy painting, watching Clint Eastwood movies, chasing after my cats, spending time with my good man and drinking with the ladies on weekends. See more of Dita Pantouf at: www.ditapantouf.net
