Interview With Buggy
by Cary
How did you get started modeling?
My good friend and great photographer Joshua Snow
encouraged me to get in front of his camera and start
my own modeling portfolio in 2007
Do you prefer the runway or being photographed?
I'm looking forward to doing runway! the idea has been
in the air, but if I can strut down a runway without
killer heels being involved, I would so be down!
Do you come from a background of training in the arts?
My mother is an artist, I got her fantastic art genes! shes
creative and use to draw really well, I wish she'd get back into
it and draw with me :) although our styles are very different,
she doesn't have the appreciation for dark and morbid like I do
haha.
What excites you about modeling?
Modeling is such a liberating experience. if you get to the point
where u can totally be free in front of a camera and you have
a connection with it, great things can be captured with that kind
of energy in the room.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?
I love working with veils, or loose clothing or just nothing at all
if I had to choose haha!
What are your least favorites?
I don't like jeans at all, its strange. I'm not sure where that
comes from lol.
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
Paints, pencils, even just typing my feelings on the Internet.
putting pictures together in a bulletin to convey a message.
changing my look, I love experimenting with my hair and make-up!
What kind of music do you like?
ALL kinds. I've been really into electro lately. I bounce around from
psychobilly, to metal, to indie, I love any music that makes me feel
inspired.
What do you like to do for fun?
Draw, skateboard, work out, cut my hair, make movies with my
friends and taking walks in unfamiliar woods or forest trails to
hang out or take pictures. I love meeting new people, I'll go
out by myself and just start a conversation with a stranger.
