Interview With Annie Social

by Cary

My favorite social event: Very Hot Pro Wrestler and Model Annie Social!

What first attracted you to Wrestling and how did you get started?

I was working at a bar in downtown Philadelphia when a promoter for Women's Extreme Wrestling asked me if I'd like to be a part of their show. I started out oil wrestling and then went on to seek training in Professional wrestling. I was trained by Trent Acid, Gary Wolf and Mike Kehner in Philadelphia and I also received training from Ron Hutchison in Toronto. I have been working in Pro Wrestling for about 8 years now and I love it. It is my life.

What kind of training do you need to go through to wrestle well?

Pro wrestling training is intense. You basically have to lose all fear of getting hurt because you will be in a great deal of pain. I went through some crazy physical training at the hands of "The Pitbull" Gary Wolf. He would drill you until you felt like you were gonna die (push ups, squats..etc.) and then he'd send you outside to run. If you survived this you would then get in the ring and work on technical wrestling and in ring cardio. We'd train for 3 to 4 hours 4 days a week and I'd wake up the next day feeling like I got hit by a truck. To wrestle well you need to be in the hands of a true professional who is willing to be patient and explain every step. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best in the business. Aside from my regular training, I also attended wrestling seminars hosted by talents such as Too Cold Scorpio, Gangrel, Ian Rotten and the SAT.

What kinds of people come to see you wrestle?

I've worked in front of all kinds of crowds. Some of the shows are all ages and some are for 21 and up crowds.

What is the experience like wrestling in front of a crowd?

It's insane. It's the biggest adrenaline rush you could ever get. I love it.

What do you think about the crossover between and fetish/bdsm culture, do you feel like what you're doing is part of that scene?

I don't really think what I'm doing is so much a part of the fetish scene. It's entertainment. I know there are specific kinds of wrestling (catfight, oil, intergender matches) that appeal to people in the scene but I'm not really involved in those kinds of matches so much. But if what I do appeals to everyone, that's pretty awesome. I just want to keep everyone entertained.

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?

I don't really have a favorite style of outfit to model in. If something catches my eye and it looks good on me I'll rock it.

What are your least favorites?

Anything pink and ultra girly. I hate stereotypes.

What kind of music do you like?

I like everything from motown to metal to underground hip hop. If it doesn't suck, chances are I'm a fan.

What do you like to do for fun?

I honestly just like to bum around and watch my shows. Life is so hectic and to me nothing is better than chillin in my basement in my pjs watching Dexter or Weeds or something. I'm not a big party chick. People in public annoy me.
