Interview With Anarchy
by Cary
How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?
I actually became interested in fetish / BDSM via my modeling work. I had always been drawn to the beautiful, feminine latex designs that are so common in the fetish field and when I was offered a fetish themed shoot - I jumped at the chance! I had the most fun I have ever had on a shoot and haven't looked back since!
Are there any fetishes that you don't find appealing?
I have to admit, I'm very much the type of girl who likes to try everything once and, honestly, I've not found anything yet that i DON'T enjoy!
What excites you about fetish modeling?
When I first experimented with fetish modeling, naturally it was very much about change and transformation, for me. It became representative of a more mature feel to my portfolio and has been a change that I have been absolutely thrilled with! I spend most of my time in sky - high heels which I truly believe should be made a legal requirement in every girl's wardrobe!
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?
I absolutely adore the designs by Nina Kate and HMS Latex - they are absolutely divine! I was also recently fortunate enough to shoot for the Italian fashion house Blackmirror Designs who have a truly wonderful collection of latex themed fancies that are simply stunning!
What are your least favorites?
I'm fairly open minded with regards what I will and won't wear - I try to see the benefits of all wardrobe styling, however I do have to admit that there are some clothing companies that I have had to politely decline as diplomatically as possible whilst hoping that they take little offense! It's also very much about the photographer as much as the content as very often, if you, as a model, trust the photographer enough to make you look decent no matter what you're wearing - then you let a lot of things slide. Though I do have to admit, I can only name a few photographers I'd be willing to take that chance with!
Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?
Oh definitely! In fact - I, myself, am representative of that very statement having, literally, just come straight from a Pinup shoot on a disused car lot! I know there are two schools of thought on this matter; some people think that popularizing all aspects of culture is beneficial whilst some groups see it as rather a shame for it to be losing some of it's exclusivity to the high street generation, which I completely understand too.
What kind of music do you like?
I actually listen to most things rock - based. Born in the early 80s - I didn't really get a say; I was always going to be brought up on the likes of Guns 'n' Roses, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin though I do admit to a fascination with anything Rob Zombie related nowadays!
What do you like to do for fun?
On the rare occasion that I manage to steal a day off, I try to let my hair down as much as possible with friends. Days off are becoming a rare treat for me of late with shooting almost every day and being on the road between shoots for the days when I'm not so I do really appreciate the little free time I have now!
